Open Studio Policy: ​​​​​

Open Studio is completely independent and exclusively for individuals ages 16 and older who have sufficient experience and knowledge of the medium to safely work in the studio space without the aid of an instructor. 

 

​- Upon initial visit, each participant must arrive 15 minutes early for a clearance tour of the studio and demonstration of expectations and to read and sign our policy and waiver form. 

​- Remember to wear closed-toe/closed-heel shoes

- Opt for short sleeve shirts and comfortable pants. Leave dangling clothes and dangling jewelry at home.

- If you have long hair, wear it up or pulled back for your safety and comfort.

- No outside clay permitted at this time

- Outside glazes must be approved by employee​

Open Studio Costs: ​​​​

​

- The studio fee is an hourly fee of $6/hour per person. Initial visit is an additional $15 for studio clearance.

- The cost of clay is $1.50/pound: Low Fire White Clay 06-04, B-Mix 5 w/grog, or High Fire Laguna Red (WC 613 #80)

- Bisque firing cost is $5/piece

- Book Open Studio for your trimming needs

- No Open Studio booking required for glazing; return any time after bisque-firing to glaze for $6/hour.
